Study for a GIST Degree and Enter a Growing Labor Market

The geospatial information science and technology market is growing at a rate of over 35% each year, and the US Department for Labor is currently calling for more online GIST program graduates to help cope with the demand.  The online GIST degree can be studied for from the comfort of a student’s home, and many top universities, like the University of California, are now offering this degree option.

Upon graduation, there are jobs available in the non profit sector, in transportation, in health and human sources, in government, in law enforcement, and in engineering.  There is a whole host of opportunities just waiting to be claimed, and with salaries of up to $90,000 on offer, this is a fantastic career option for many.
