The Best Smartphones for Mobile Gaming

In recent years, the smartphone industry has continued to grow into one of the most competitive sectors on the market, and with more and more options now available, it is even trickier than ever to know which smartphones offer you the very best in mobile gaming experiences. From the Apple iPhone XR, to the Samsung Galaxy S10, Huawei P30 Pro, and many more, the market is healthier than ever when it comes to the possibilities on offer to prospective customers.

As mobile gaming is on the rise, it comes as no surprise that users are looking to find the smartphone that offers the very best performance. Along with open world games such as Fortnite and PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds, the mobile sports betting industry remains at the forefront of smartphone gaming. With many options to choose from which offer a range of incentives from such as free bets, no deposits and special offers available at sites like Oddschecker, selecting the right smartphone to be able to enjoy secure and trusted mobile sport betting is more important than ever, especially with some specializing in either Android or Apple products.

iPhone XR

Amongst all of the options, Apple’s new iPhone XR represents an extremely viable option for users seeking to enhance their mobile gaming experience. The XR is fitted with a A12 Bionic processor which seeks to provide high-spec performance across gaming, augmented reality, pictures and more. Additionally, the latest iPhone release comes with a 7nm CPU which directly rivals the Galaxy S10 and P30 Pro. However, the XR’s RAM fails to live up to the specifications fitted within some of its rivals. The S10 and P30 Pro aside, the XR’s 3GB of RAM is only half of that fitted within the Sony Experia 1 and Nokia 9 Pureview, and considerably less than the 12GB which is on offer with the Galaxy S10+. In relation to the screen resolution, Apple’s latest iPhone comes with a 1792×828 resolution screen. By comparison, the XR’s resolution is not as crisp as that within the HTC Exodus 1 which offers a 1440p resolution. With that being said, however, the iPhone’s display is still more than adequate for mobile gaming. Furthermore, the 2,942 mAh battery within the XR is a very competitive option which allows for approximately 15 hours of internet use and 16 hours of wireless playback.

The Huawei P30 Pro is perhaps one of the most interesting options available on the market at present. Given that Apple and Samsung have largely dominated the smartphone industry for the last few years, the P30 Pro could be the option for you if you are looking for a switch away from an Apple or Samsung smartphone. The P30 Pro is fitted with a Kirwin 980 Octa-core processor, which is the world’s first cortex-A76 architecture chipset. Moreover, Huawei’s newest release allows for an extensive period of gaming with its 4200 mAh battery whilst its 8GB of RAM offers a smooth performance which can be enjoyed on the 1080p resolution screen.

As stated above, whilst the iPhone XR and Huawei P30 Pro are perfectly viable options for users who are looking to their smartphone to do more than just the day-to-day tasks, the Samsung Galaxy S10 should also be taken into consideration. Much like the iPhone XR, the S10 is fitted with a 7nm 64-bit Octa-core processor. However, unlike the XR, the S10 comes with 8GB of RAM which is bettered only by the S10+. Furthermore, the S10’s 1440p resolution and HDR10+ certified display, along with the processor and RAM fitted within Samsung’s latest release, offers users crisp viewing during their mobile gaming experience. That said, whilst the S10’s 3,400 mAh battery capacity does offer for an extensive gaming experience, it does not have the same long-lasting battery life as the Galaxy A20 which allows for 15W fast charging with its 4,000 mAh battery.

Whilst there are many other options available on the market, the Apple iPhone XR, Huawei P30 pro and Samsung Galaxy S10 represent three high-spec options for those looking to enhance their mobile gaming experience. Despite their different specifications, it is worth considering all options with each offering their own unique elements which result in an enjoyable mobile gaming experience.
